Card Traders Australia runs eBay, Shopify and in-store sales from one vault
cardtradersaustralia.com.au is a high-volume Australian TCG store selling Pokémon (English and Japanese), Dragon Ball, One Piece, Magic and dozens more lines — on its own Shopify storefront, on eBay, and over the counter. Since July 2026 the whole operation has run through TCG Edge: one vault of inventory fanning out to every channel, with quantities, prices and orders kept in sync automatically. These are real production numbers.

The problem
Selling the same inventory in three places at once is where card stores get hurt. A single copy listed on eBay, on Shopify and sitting in the shop can sell twice in the same hour — and at volume, manually reconciling quantities across channels stops being a chore and becomes a full-time job. Add thousands of singles, each its own SKU with a moving market price, and multi-channel by hand simply doesn't scale.
What runs automatically
- Listing at volume. Items are picked from the catalog into the vault and the sync engine creates the eBay and Shopify listings — titles, card images, set data, condition, price. Over 10,900 listings created; bulk runs are queued and drained automatically in the background.
- Cross-channel quantity sync. A sale on any channel — eBay, Shopify or over the counter — deducts stock and pushes the new quantity to every other channel, protected by sale-guard logic that prevents double-deduction and phantom sales.
- Sold-out, not deleted. When something sells out it stays visible as sold-out and relists itself on restock, keeping listing history and search ranking instead of rebuilding from scratch.
- One order queue. eBay and Shopify orders land in a single order-management view with pick lists and fulfilment tracking — no juggling two seller dashboards.
- Market-tracked pricing. Singles are priced from live market data under rule-gated control, with price changes fanning out to every channel.
Scale, not just leverage
Card Traders Australia is what the engine looks like at volume: forty-plus product categories, thousands of live listings, and hundreds of orders a month flowing through the same workflows a one-person store uses. The throughput changes; the workflow doesn't.
